Found a beautiful dress at Cande that I knew was the one. I visited several shops locally in Vancouver afterwards, but nothing matched what I saw at Cande. It was a brides worst nightmare and Cande came to my rescue! 36 hours before I was getting on a plane to NYC for my wedding, my custom wedding dress zipper broke and we had to cut me out of the dress! In a massive panic I contacted Cande for help. With the help of Lillian Wild they were able to get me in within the hour, altered a sample gown to fit me and even made a bow for the back of it (like my original dress had). I did have a good experience at Cande and would recommend future brides to go there. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars as the sample dresses that were there were way too small for me. I would encourage more size inclusiveness as it was hard for me to fall in love with a dress that I felt squished in and would have to order in to see if I did in fact love it. Honestly one of the most precious memories of the whole wedding planning process originated from entering this incredible boutique. The staff Chelsea and Kelsey were incredible and made this experience unique and all the more enjoyable! This was the very first store I went to when I started my dress shopping experience. I only partially knew what I wanted and I was very nervous for my appointment. I must say that I am SO happy this is where it all began.First off the store is beautiful!! It’s also a very private experience with only your group and no other shoppers in store which helped a lot with my nerves. Amazing experience! I fell in love with a dress by Lillian Wild and reached out to their Instagram. I live in Prince George but happened to be going to Kelowna that weekend. Cande actually reached out to me to set up an appt for the Monday(although they were really busy they squeezed me in!) which was perfect because my mom was still in kelowna with me and was able to be there as well! From the minute we entered the boutique the ladies were welcoming and cheerful! They gave me multiple options to make sure I felt my absolute most confident self in the dresses. I ended up choosing the very first one I loved from Instagram and a veil from Lillian Wild as well! From the perfectly curated wedding playlist to the giant pampas décor, it is a gorgeous setting exclusive to you and your party.Chelsea is an absolute gem! I visited Cande Bridal Boutique third, and last, in a weekend of wedding dress shopping from out of town. While the other boutiques I visited earlier were very nice and the consultants helpful and professional, the “experience” in the first two stores paled in comparison to the experience I had at Cande. From the moment we walked in the door, we had the whole place to ourselves and were allowed and even encouraged to look through the dresses (something actively disallowed at the other stores.) Our consultant, Chelsea, was so friendly, funny, and personable that it made it feel like I was wedding dress shopping with the help of a friend, rather than a stranger.Before coming to Cande, I was struggling to find a wedding dress that felt “right” and the other stores didn’t seem to have much within my budget that I liked. However, after only a few moments at Cande, our consultant Chelsea had pulled several dresses I liked far better than anything I saw at the previous two stores. I felt like Chelsea really listened to what I wanted and selected so many beautiful choices for me that I honestly could have bought and been thrilled with 3 or 4 dresses I tried on that day. I eventually narrowed it down to one choice, and I am so excited to try it on again in a few months’ time. I would highly recommend Cande Bridal Boutique to anyone looking for a beautiful dress and cannot say more about how much I loved my experience there!
